Better days are held in a photograph of summer escapes...

On this fine summer's morning, I am sitting at Gate B10 at the Indianapolis airport (The same spot where I got to start a journey to Brazil with a few friends a little over a year ago! I miss that place and my friends there so much!) waiting to fly down to Pensacola to meet up with my family to spend the week with my family in Gulf Shores. I've been on a huge Deas Vail kick all summer long and have been meaning to post about them; however, I have just failed to find the time to make this happen. Seeing as my sister and I missed our first flight and have a 3 hour wait, so I figured there would be no better time than now! :)

So here is the deal, I am going to start off and say that Deas Vail is amazing. I just got to see them for the first time about a month ago and I was blown away. They are all incredibly talented and sound just as good live as they do on their records (minus the awful sound mixing by the venue, but I won't get on that soap box) The band is formed up of a group of college friends who have been playing since around 2005. They came up with their name based on a combination of Latin and French that translates out to be "A humble servant to God."  Currently they are signed with the record label Mono vs. Stereo, which is a branch out of Gotee Records. The group has put out 3 full length albums and a few EPs as well. Enough of my blabbering on of my band crush, and I'll just let you listen for yourself. Included below are multiple videos for your enjoyment! Use the comment section to let me know what you guys think!

Have a great day and enjoy your summer; because, "Summer days are held in a photograph. It's never the same, and we can't go back."

Love you guys!
-Andrew
